Michael A. Babatunde is a Senior Partner and CEO of DEVCOM LLC. He began his career as a Quantity Surveyor (Cost Engineer) with NITEL PLC the Nigeria Telecommunication giant at the Project Implementation and monitoring department after graduating from the Kaduna Polytechnics. During his 18 years of services with NITEL, he worked closely with British telecoms, Itatel, Siemens, Alcatel, Ericsson, and Motorola telecommunication companies to supervise and complete world bank funded projects and they are; Victoria Island ITSC, Enugu ITSC, Kaduna ITSC, Southwest, Northeast, Northwest and Lagos telephone exchanges. Other projects are the $684 million NECON building in Lagos, 5 Zonal Headquarter buildings, and mobile switch centers in all the 6 zones of Nigeria.
He resigned voluntarily as Senior Quantity Surveyor and relocated to the United State of America in 1996 to begin another chapter of his life. He began his United State Career with Citywide Inspections and Engineering as a Construction Manager. Project completed during this periods are the $500 million Ernest Morial Convention Center, $5 million Beconlight church and $56 million Tad Gormley stadium. Michael moved to the New Orleans Public School Facility Department as a Project Coordinator shortly after the $175 million Education Bond program for new schools and renovations was approved by the city. During his 7 years working experience with the School Board, he completed various deferred maintenance projects worth $54 million in Mechanical, electrical, architectural, Fire alarm and civil.
After Hurricane Katrina, he was employed by Parsons Corporations as a Senior Project Manager for the $20 million RSD FEMA mitigation project and after the completion of the project he was reassigned to Beaumont Texas for the $400 million BISD Education bond program. He successfully completed three (3) new elementary schools, one (1) middle school, and one (1) elementary school additions worth $120million and coordinated the bulk purchase program that saved the district millions of dollars in mechanical, electrical and fire alarm systems. Michael resigned his employment with Parsons Corporation and moved back home in 2011 to join Exceptional Inspection & Management as a Project Executive in charge of business development and program management.
He is a certified project manager, an elected member of American Society of Civil Engineers (M.ASCE), member Architectural & Engineering Institute (M.AEI), Member National Society of Professional Engineers (M.NSPE), Member Project Management Institute (M.PMI), Louisiana Society of Engineers (M.LSE). He is also certified in OSHA safety 30, USACE QA/QC. His hobbies include travelling, dancing, and soccer.

Austin Chevis is a Partner with Devcom L.L.C, his background is primarily in Commercial Construction Management and Real Estate Management and Acquisitions. Austin began his career in facilities management and property management in Atlanta, Georgia. His experience in Commercial Construction Management is in K-12 Educational Buildings and civil site work. As a Project Manager with Parsons Corporation, he participated in the Beaumont ISD $388 million Bond Program in Beaumont TX.
He has 10 years of experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Microsoft Outlook, and most recently with the IMPACT Project Management Data System. Throughout his career he has acquired strong and effective communication skills. Austin has always been viewed as a Leader from his work peers, which has allowed him to develop his “Take Charge” attitude.
He has strong investigative skills which gives him the ability to interpret and analyze information. Austin’s organizational skills and ability to manage time allows him to efficiently multi-task and meet deadline requirements. Charles Austin Chevis has a combined 10 years of Real Estate Management and Commercial Construction Management experience.
Austin Chevis is a graduate of Morehouse College and Lamar Institute of Technology.
Senior Project Manager
Mike Adekoya has worked for more than 30 years in the construction industry, providing on-site project management and supervision oversight. As Senior Project Manager, Mike plans, directs, and coordinates all primary corporate activities of multiple, multi-million dollar construction projects to ensure that numerous competing contract requirements and project objectives are met within their designated time frames and funding parameters. He accomplishes these crucial objectives by working directly with project superintendents to meet critical project deliverables. Mike possess the managerial capabilities in managing all phases of corporate construction organization by supervising the processes required in delivering major project objectives including Project Management, design review, Estimating, Field Operations, Scheduling, and Safety.
Mike’s ability to resolve constructability issues, and his approach to using technology to advance means and method in construction laid credence to his professionalism. He left his mark at Lion Group Construction and Kissberg Construction Inc. Since coming on board with Devcom, he has demonstrated his ability in every aspect of construction methodology. He is a graduate of Jackson State University with BS civil Engineering/Construction Technology and Surveying from Southern Polytechnics University Marietta Georgia. He now resides in New Orleans...
Ms. Tanya Price

Ms. Tanya Price currently serves as Partner/Project Development coordinating our 8(A), Hub zone and DBE partners. She has numerous years of senior experience in every phase of the construction industry, but she most passionate about those project that focus prominently on residential, urban revitalization and infrastructure developments. She balances both human capital and project necessities to achieve corporate goals and assure sustained organizational growth. Ms. Price’s executive leadership has advanced corporate objectives by refining strategic action plans that ensures employee retention and has resulted in higher gross margins. Since assuming the position as Principal, Ms. Price has brought a unique blend of knowledge and capabilities to our partners. Throughout her career she has cultivated a trusted clientele that has relied heavily on her project management insights, trusted her cost effective and transparent financial management, and benefited from her broad expanse of industry relationships.
Her tenure as a Senior Project Manager at Legette Constructions Inc, and Doucette & Associates Contractors has helped transformed DBEs from a small business construction companies into a large and highly competitive National Federal Contractors. Since coming on board at DEVCOM, she has reached out to numerous minorities and women own construction companies in the area. Ms. Price enthusiasm, innovative spirit, and commitment to quality will be the driving forces behind the continued growth and success of our partners. By applying her talents in managing multi-million dollar federal contracts, performing constructive cash flow analysis, and strategically positioning business assets, budgeting, scheduling, and program management, our partners companies will be equipped to performed and their potentials. Ms. Price is a graduate of University of New Orleans with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance. She currently resides in New Orleans, Louisiana.
